Business Development Associate
Responsible for helping to drive sales and growth of the business. He/She will attract new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include market research, developing business strategies and pitches, presenting a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities that will benefit the company. The successful candidate must be willing to have roving responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting market research and identifying potential clients.
- Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Collating and maintaining client information in the POS database.
- Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
Pastry Chef/Baker
Responsible for preparation and measurement of ingredients, baking of pastry goods offered by Verena’s Restaurant, and ensuring the quality of the baked products. The successful candidate must be willing to have roving responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
- Creating cakes, pastries, bread, and other baked products.
- Develop new recipes for seasonal menus.
- Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure tasteful presentation.
- Monitoring the stock of all ingredients.
- Ensuring the Pastry section adheres to safety and health regulations.
Inventory Controller
The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels for the organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the company’s products and supplies are efficiently managed and available for timely delivery to customers. The Inventory Controller will also oversee the ordering and stocking of materials, as well as the management of inventory data. The successful candidate must be willing to have roving responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing the purchase orders, receiving, storing, issuing the goods, managing the stock levels, and giving out the supplies from the stock.
- Involved in preparing the inventories, maintaining the stock records, using the POS system for entering the records, and being accountable for checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders.
- To oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system within the stock location system.
- Supervise the offloading and unloading process during the transmittal of goods.
Accounting Staff

- Record financial transactions by entering account information into the accounting software.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other compliance documents as required by law.
- Conduct monthly and yearly closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
